We are delighted to announce that Educare Nursery has been rated Good’ across all areas in our recent Ofsted inspection (quality of education; behaviour and attitudes; personal development; and leadership and management).
Key highlights of the report:
- Staff support development of children’s communication and language skills, introducing letter sounds, developing mathematical knowledge counting and judging size, weight and space through creative play and promote independence.
- Children are encouraged to read books at home with book bag opportunities and in the book shed. They learn about the physical body and how it is made up of skin, bones and blood. Staff help children learn about emotions thinking about things that make them ‘confused’, ‘scared’ or ‘calm’.
- Toddlers have good listening and are happy following instructions/actions. Babies have secure attachments to caring, and nurturing staff and feel safe and secure. Babies develop through activities that strengthen their muscles needed for developing hand/eye coordination and walking.
- Planned, coherent, and sequenced curriculum is based on children’s interests and next steps, identifying the skills children need before moving on to the next stage in their learning. Staff provide a good level of support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and English as an additional language. Using pictures, single words, facial expressions, gestures and sign language to promote their language development.
Our achievement reflects the dedication and passion our team brings to nurturing and supporting every child’s growth, development, and happiness.
A huge thank you to our wonderful parents/carers for your continued trust and support, and to our incredible team for their unwavering dedication. We couldn’t have done it without you!
We are so proud and excited to continue to improve on our support for our families providing the best care and education for your children.
